Re: Prime Minister Cameron.

The acceptable face of sleaze. There's an awful stench coming off our Cameron I am afraid.

They all dress the same: clean yet inert, like junior managers at the old UK banks. The banksters and corporates love them, when they say 'suck?', they get down and presume the position with their mouths all agabe like fish.

The Labour leader is as bad, whatever his name is, utterly forgettable without character and unelectable which says something when you consider the competition.

We need some politicans with some fire and style, which of course, is not part of the plot.

Re: Prime Minister Cameron.

I think that the problem is that today an UK  Prime Minister don't can wear sophisticated Saville Row double breasted,or single breasted with waistcoat, neither a pochette without seem elitarian or "frivolous!.
So he wear correct, clean two buttons single breasted, with solid color ties.
But nevertheless this simple uniform he is very distinguishing and elegant in a British way.
In Ian Fleming novels Bond not wear so?

The best tailoring in parliament is worn by William Hague.

I recall reading somewhere that Cameron was a Huntsman/Poole (Can't remember) customer? It is evident that Gideon Osborne wears T&A shirts as well.

No, probably some psychological thingy dreamt up by some image consultant.

I'm not sure Mad Men has had any sartorial impact in Britain.

Re: Prime Minister Cameron.

I agree with 4FHepcat - there's a nasty stench rising and they're all involved: politicians (Conservative/Lib-Slobs and Labour); police; journalists. And people laugh at the corruption in places like Italy; Brazil; Pakistan and Nigeria. Those people are sheer amateurs! So far as their dress is concerned, Hep has also nailed that one: don't look too good or you'll upset the bankers., the voters the journalists - mind you, there's no chance of any of them looking too good from Little Willie to Big Dave they look like the dorks that they are and, as for the Millibands, well they look like a pair of wandering tinkers and sound like adenoidal schoolboys.

^The blue suit and black shoes - it just depends how it is done - but it is never going to be done well by a smirking fat slob, such as David Cameron.

^ He has the incipient jowl often seen in those of his class - gives the illusion of fatness and premature age. It goes with the smug, self-satisfied face of someone brought up bullying fags.

Re: Prime Minister Cameron.

People like Boris or Cameron never get a break. If they dress as per the more informed members of their class they are criticized for being elitist.

If they tone it down to be approachable they're accused of looking like sloppy bums.
