If the shirt was slim fit it wouldn't be in a old school style, or is that Ye Olde Schoole Styleee? I think its supposed to be an undergarment really. If your going to go for a slim fit why not dump the press studs and go for some mother of pearl? Might as well wack a BD collar on it as well, something so casual should be BD. Wouldn't work with those jeans then though. As it is you can wear it but the modern ones have taken that look and made it more presentable. The one in the picture worn with those jeans (and the braces to hold them up) might look a bit Hamish with the wrong footwear. Maybe worn with a modern pair of trainers and a NY Paperboy cap? Might look pretty good on the under 30s.

I admire the business model and aesthetic, but like Chet sang, its not for me.
I don't think I've ever seen higher rise trousers in a plain front and without a baggy fit. It seems to work better, and the wider waistband does help balance things out.
Not big on the pockets though.
