Very amusing article, Marc. You can transcend space and time--with the right clothes and attitude. Thanks for posting.

I have always had a fondness for "cocktail" cuffs. This stemming - I suppose - from the fact that most of my sartorial development was centred around the Sean Connery James Bond movies.
I've never been a fan of anything more than one button on the cuff (other that Cocktail and french cuffs), especially if the shirt is one of those with the massive MOP buttons.
The New York Times even gave GH a pretty good review in Zorro, considering...

One of the classic GH stories is how, with less than $100 to his name, he borrowed a friend's Rolls Royce with which to drive to auditions, to help foster the image of being highly successful.
This turned into a really good, positive thread. as the man said, "You either got, or you hasn't got style" (From "High Society,I think-the musical version of the great "Philadelphia Story" ).
Also-GH looks comfortab;e in his clothes.
George Hamilton, it can be said, is one of the last of Hollywood's Older set. There's also Elizabeth Taylor, of course and to a lesser extent, Zsa Zsa Gabor.
