^Funnily enough I was chatting to a colleague earlier today about the joys of the white beaches of Forteleza and how I nearly purchased a tremendous marbled floored apartment for a mere USD$50K. Ah yes, all a mere dream to me now.

The exchange rate has stuffed the Brits and Europeans; and my marriage and kids ensures my MacArthur like return to Prudente de Morais, one block back from Ipanema beach isn't going to happen any time soon.
Some Aussie cabernet sauvignon: The Cover Drive, from what I believe is Jim Barry's vineyard, I dunno' I'm kind of lost with all the cricket references on the bottle. Probably a bad sign, but I'm not going to drink enough to find out.

Williams & Humbert 12 year old Pedro Ximenez sweet pudding wine.
Like Tate & Lyle Golden Syrup but a small glass on a Winter's day goes down well. Shame there is no Christmas pudding left to go with it.
