I thought about this a bit yesterday, obviously my Dockers shirt had me looking big, but I've noticed on a lot of people that are broad in the shoulders and thinner in the waist that baggy fitting shirt aren't great cause it makes a person's waist look bigger, where as if with someone who is big in the shoulders and also big in the waist it suits them. Well that's my experience. Same goes for narrow shouldered and waisted people.
I've spent hours looking for those Steve McQueen shots mentioned by Jesmond. Even spending a stupid amount of time on japanese sites sifting through blogs and whatnot, hoping to find something...anything. Nothing.

Bumping this for kicks.
I really can't work out what I love more.... that tonal grey/green, the light soft shade you see in the Miles shot or even the contrasting olive/white weave loveliness of the green Brooks Sports Fan linked.
Green, for me is like the blue OCBD or a chambray in that it seems to get better with age. Battered and faded, slightly grey and washed out it takes on something else. That crumpled, worn but not worn out thing that is so fascinating about much of Ivy.
I think H should hire you as a copywriter!
I would prefer the title 'Minister of Propaganda'.
I have a beautiful dark green makers i luckily picked up last year.
I need (would like) a light green ,don't know if i can hold out for the FC one.

My light green Bean is a firm fav
I've my BB green candy stripe OCBD with flap and back collar button on today. Would be perfect if they had put a sufficient collar roll on it.
Maybe I've been unlucky, but the condition of everything vintage I've bought from the internet has been much worse than described. From now on I'm only buying vintage if I've been able to fully inspect it in person beforehand.
I had a green poly cotton shirt made to measure on the back of that miles davis picture
Really wanted an Oxford Cotten but couldn't find a nice enough green
I do have an ocbd in bottle green from JS
