I note H&H have increased their prices significantly on RTW shirts.
They used to go for just over £30 in the sale. Now they want £44.50.
Good collars. They do not suffer from turning in at the tips like some other makers. I would rather have a Primark collar than that. Cloth quality varies and cuffs are sometimes a bit tight. When I looked this was due to where the buttons had been sewn rather than cuff size.

It must have been difficult for H&H to make a profit at £90 for 3 RTW shirts. At that price, they were a bargain in comparison to TM Lewin, Hawes & Curtis and Charles Tyrwhitt.
£44.50 moves H&H into mid-price territory. Hilditch & Key (no collar turning) charged only a few pounds more in the Sale by Mail a few months ago but this season's brochure has not arrived.
Has anyone tried Laine Taylor shirts? They have a range of classic styles that sell at similar prices through country and menswear stores in England.
John Lewis sell made in England shirts (Alexander Boyd/Rayner & Sturges) with cut-away collars and MOP buttons for £65. They could be cheaper in the sales.

But Lewin and Tyrwhitt shirts are also on permanent sale (4 for £100 etc.).
I would put Lewin ahead of Tyrwhitt on quality and good value when you can pick up their shirts for less than £30. In fact I wouldn't buy Tyrwhitt again after the disastrous collar-glue bubbling on the last lot I bought.
Shame that Lewin don't seem to do any button-downs though.

I had Lewin decades ago. Their collars curled in and they shrank.
I have not bought them since. Tyrwhitt I remember as a mail order outfit. I have never bought from them.
