Re: Superlative work by JP Gaul -

Man buys coat shocker! I always had my suspicions there were people with nothing better to do than look down their disjointed noses at others, the problem I have with a lot of this, is people don't want their little fantasy worlds inhabited. You're such a deluded and controlling prick Andy.

They'll be very happily lost by me then if they lean that way.  But they can still get into Ivy if they wish though...

Not sure why I'm on their radar to be honest. Mainly it's Italian clubs. Are they nicer ?

Wait a sec, has JP had anything to do with this book behind the scenes? Obviously Yale has invited him to write for the blog I'm wndering if he had anything else to do with it?

No idea, the picture I was talking about is in one of my coffee table books on American art in the bio section at the end...

And you do raise the fact that English and European fans spearheaded the new interest in all of this...

The best the US had was endless 'Preppy' & the i-Construct of 'Trad' before certain people...  wink

Re: Superlative work by JP Gaul -

Nope - My point is that the UK in particular spearheaded all of this online.  Then it all moved out from there.

Even 'Take Ivy' was rediscovered first by a certain member of our family.
