P.S.: I think that there is no dedicated "Ivy League" watch - to my understanding the best watches working with the look are the more classic looking watches... and diving automatic watches on Nato straps... like Seiko, Orient, Rolex, Omega etc... Opinions?
Ah, and vintage watches - like the one my mum found at my grandma's house that belonged to my grandpa - a 50`s or 60's Doxa Automatic dress watch. Will be serviced and cleaned for next Christmas

I can remember...
To my understanding they are the official timekeeper of the Tour de France and therefore there is a Tour Chrono every year as a limited edition...:

I just liked it back then and still like it as sports watch - it works flawlessly and never let's me down (except when the battery is empty 
). The original red wristband was crap, but I love the new Nato strap.

Rolex was extremely rare and was not popular in the USA during the boom period.
Omega was popular and plenty of Seamasters and other fine vintage examples around for very reasonable prices and they do look good on Nato straps.
