And at least with CD's you tend to get rarities and extra tracks from the sessions not on the original album. Check this out, the absolutely wonderful vibrant blues of Solid Citizens recorded at the sessions for Art Pepper's Smack Up album. How could this have languished in the vaults for night on four decades, until the Japanese released it:
