lt's a nice looking shoo mate. Pity it hasn't got a leather sole, never mind.
Serious about all that shooey? How much do you spend in shoes each year?
Fruity
Lookin' for something shell from Vass + a 1930's to 1940's light to medium tan wingtip from Edwin Clapp, Crosby Square, or someone in that class of classic shoemaker + some darker brown oxford Wingtip spades.
Crockett & Jones Brecon in Dark Brown Country Calf
My next purchase. The 341 last is a good mixture of the 348 and the 325, not too elongated but also not too stubby.
John Lobb CityII in Brown
I can really use another oxford.
J.M Weston Demi Chasse in Tan
Tried these on last year and was surprised by the fit and the quality of the shoe. I've really come to like Westons as they look like a good mixture between Italian and English influences.
Aubercy Edward/James/Swann/Philippe
If I make it to Paris next year I'll definitely visit the store and get a pair. They do have some really interesting lasts and styles plus I would like to see how they wear.
A Derby
I haven't decided on the exact style and maker yet. Edward Green come to mind but they have been a real diappointment for me and I'm not sure if I want to make business with them again. The retailers here are good though and quite knowledgeable people so we'll see.
Something Italian
Santoni do have some really nice monks and I travel to Italy regularly so there's a good chance to get some next time. Or from another maker like Scafora if they are available.
Barker purple suede brogues for next southern winter.
Apart from that, hard to tell as I may travel to melb in the mean time, if only to check out the new shoe store there (pending detailed review from Shooey and fxh).

Melbourne sucks because its always happening there sartorially speaking....I suspect at AUD480 for benchgrade C&J they will sell a lot of shoes if the word gets round and if C&J can supply same.

Having accumulated a large collection of non-Edward Green shoes, my 'shoo plan' for 2013 is to get a decent pair of Edward Greens. Not sure yet which one to plump for...
I just want a pair of those brown cordovans they sell in Brooks Bros. I'll pop in over Christmas but they never seem to reduce them in the London sales.
