What would you like for Christmas this year?

Please post honest and reasonable replies, i.e. what your family budgets can afford.

You can also identify possible purchases in the sales, some of which have started in London!

Contrary to lies of FNB and Woofboxer, I (and most of the other "Buff Bastards") have been banned from posting on this forum. There are only a few posters left so don't waste your time on here. This forum is dead and nobody cares.

Re: What would you like for Christmas this year?

Nothing. I don't really need anything. If I packed in work I would have a lot of suits and ties that would not get much wear.

Mostly looking at toys for gifts. Lidl has some quite good wooden ones. Maybe a Beano annual too. Prefer something that I would have enjoyed myself.

Have not noticed sales but sales are on all year round now. Leonard Jay in Fleet Street is finishing their sale today. It was an opening offer for a new branch.

I loathe Christianity...  ;

It's like Preppy compared to Ivy when you're Jewish ...

However,

And that's cool.

- Please can we stop using the made-up date 2012? The real year is 5772.

Well, as I seem to be one of the few on here that doesn't own a  Norwegian Crewneck Sweater, put me down for one of those.

Something like this, plus gas and motel money for a trip to Buffalo.

Re: What would you like for Christmas this year?

I won't be rude about Jesus... But, a failed carpenter? Now a lawyer or a doctor would have been fine... Or he could have done The Knowedge and gone on the cabs...

And, while it's on my mind, Loaves and fishes?

- And people listened to him?

Trust me, this is bullshit. There is no Christianity before Christ and so he is trying to schmooze five thousdand Jews just with bread and fish without a pickle on the side?

Yeah, right.

The Bible is full of crap like this - Mary & Joseph were Jewish, and they didn't phone ahead at Christmas?

Please.

At this point their whole religion crumbles into dust.

- Riding on a donkey my arse. Maybe a second hand pony at a pich, but you show me the Jew who would ride on a donkey. They'd rather walk.

- AND the only reason they schelpped to Bethlehem in the first place was for some kind of census to pay taxes?

Hello?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there are such people as Jewish Accountants, and always have been.

Nobody in the history of mankind ever went out of their way to pay taxes like M. & J. did  - What was wrong with them?

The whole thing stinks -

It's a story about paying taxes.

Good luck with it.

Amazon & Starbucks aren't listening !  wink

Yup. It's an old trick. They then add the spam links later, just like this one did. Then I delete them!

It would be better if everyone discussed the topic of the thread rather than politics and religion.

I only trust my relatives to buy me socks and pyjamas.  The rest I'd rather buy myself.

I'd like Hedy Lamarr before 1952.
