Re: Inane Post of the Day 2012: The End of the Sartorial World Edition

Some stuff about your nice former president, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and how he broke the law to confiscate the gold from the people of America with threats of a $10,000 fine if you didn't bow to this dictators rules:
http://www.the-privateer.com/1933-gold-confiscation.html

More stuff on how the Rothchilds have stolen the gold from the banks (1% per year since 1912):
http://seeker401.wordpress.com/2010/08/06/federal-reserve-act-was-passed-on-december-23-1913-that-means-that-at-or-around-december-21-2012-the-nation-will-run-out-of-gold-to-pay-the-federal-reserve/

http://www.unexplained-mysteries.com/column.php?id=133253

The banks have been waking up about the future collapse of the economy so they have been secretly buying up gold:
http://buying-gold.goldprice.org/2012/11/central-banks-returning-to-gold-standard.html

Lots of trouble ahead. Better start buying gold and silver. The banks know what's going on.

^ Shooman, the various defenses have been attempted in courts (mostly in the U.S.) and have never been upheld, they are granted no legal significance.

Re: Inane Post of the Day 2012: The End of the Sartorial World Edition

For example: John Cheek had his criminal conviction overturned as per a 'good faith misunderstanding' of the tax law but was still required to pay the IRS the back taxes, and the fines accrued. I am unaware of anyone who has succesfully applied these strategies. Ignorantia juris non excusat (ignorance of the law is no excuse) seems to be the outcome.

What I don't grasp is why a government would fail to make it's laws legally binding upon its citizens?

I really hope that you succeed in your own case though, I'm rooting for you. smile
