The Temptations psychedelic soul period is pretty damn good IMO. Very well produced, recorded and with inspired performances of well written songs.
And in my little world, jungle music begins and ends with Ellington. All the so called genres of house and hip-hop music passed me by I am afraid, I liked what they drew inspiration from, but the end result always seemed pretty tame and flat by comparison. There was always something essential missing.
It's basically drug music...

A new band I got into recently called The Growlers, they've got a good track called Sea Lion Blues.

As for the shirts, well, buy one and then let me know lol
What are you trying to prove here exactly Yuca? The only difference in my 2 comments you quoted is the word solely. Your initial comment seemed to imply that you were crediting jungles existence solely with hip hop, so as my comment was in reply to yours it would seem irrelevant whether I used the word solely or not. What I meant was pretty damn clear to me, obviously not to you. Anyway If it makes you feel better, I bow to your superior music knowledge and internet pedantry skills
Jesus christ Yuca, give it a rest, all my points are obvious and quite clear, and not hypothetical like your last point, no other break has been more influential to music. I know you like to pride yourself on this stuff, but now you're just looking like a freak.
I actually agree with Yuca that it's not the most important break, but then I'm not a huge Jungle/d&b fan and I am a big hip hop fan. I suppose its subjective really. Your points are quite clear though, he's just on a wind up mission.
Anyhow... what are we wearing....? Oh wait wrong thread.
Yo, trainspotters! Don't waste your energy arguing about genres and shit - go and make some music instead - you can get a decent harp for 20 odd quid. FFS!
Bop - hit me up with some sounds man.

I would argue what Muggs did was better than both, well, in terms of catchiness.
