Re: A new contender

Sounds good to me. I fancy a pair in the same beige colour as Henry... but I have 2 pairs of Levis in that colour already. Maybe some in Olive cord would be nice.... maybe tan.....

God, this is going to be a tough decision.

Re: A new contender

Unfortunately everything is conspiring against me opening shop when I said I would. I am hoping to be up and running within 2 weeks. My shirts have been delayed by just over a week and there's all sorts of red tape that you would not imagine, We'll I didn't imagine, there would be. I'm not going to rush anything or settle for half measures. They'll be worth the wait.

That's the way to do it. Stedman rushed their product more then I realised (I was talking to my old designer mate the other day). Looking forward to your success !

Perfection, Henry!

You've really nailed it and I'm taking at least one in every color you make; really great work!

I'm looking forward to seeing the ties too.

Any idea of what the shirts will sell for on average?

You've laid 'em down beautifully, man!

Re: A new contender

Are you looking to distribute to local shops and squeeze into the int'l retail market down the line or is this just a labor of love venture for us niche ivyists?

^Aye, take your time, I've spent all my pocket money until around the 21st March. No need to open up shop before for me.

Re: A new contender

Oliver, the shirts are going to retail for £120. I'm not going to be able to wholesale as there really isn't alot of profit in what I'm doing and shops want big mark ups.

Re: A new contender

I know I am probably being a bore H as the info will be on the website.
But I know the Large is 17 – 17.5 collar and a 35 sleeve what’s the pit to pit?
Is it a Brooks’s style fit? Or are you veering towards a Gant hugger type thang?

Re: A new contender

Somewhere inbetween, I like to call it the sweet spot lol. I'll have a measure later I think the large is around 26, but not positive.

Re: A new contender

Good I'm glad to hear it. I know the three sizes won't please everyone but I think they cover quite a wide customer base and as things progress I'll add more sizes.
