Re: A new contender

I used to get all my knitwear made for me, it's true, but that stopped after my Gran passed away - I've not been able to find anyone else at the same price point (i.e. free).  Fortunately all my cardigans - which have 'Paul Weller' in giant letters on the back - are still going strong.  Some of the snobs on here knock man-made fibres, but acrylic does last.

I once had a dream about some kind of apocalypse and while everyone was raiding supermarkets for food I was kicking in the doors of Mr Bens vintage clothing shop in Glasgow.

Re: A new contender

Have recently worn all three colours of Fitzgerald's shirts and quality is superb! The roll on the collar is beautiful and sits extremely well with and without a tie. They are nice and long so no chance of coming untucked any time soon! Rounded detailing on the chest pocket is a nice touch and the buttons are mother of pearl. All three colours will be available to buy online shortly I believe.

P.S first post

Welcome to the board Rooster. Am I right in saying you are the same Rooster who posted on modcult as Rooster Magic? If so it's very good to have you here. Liked your style on Modcult and look forward to seeing your work for Fitzgeralds.

Re: A new contender

I'm 16.5 inch neck, 42 chest and 35 inch sleeve. Which Fitzgerald size would fit me best? Edit - I might be okay with a 34 inch sleeve.

Re: A new contender

If you can go with a 34 sleeve then the medium will be the best option. The collar on the large will be too big for you but the sleeve would be right. How would you wear it, would you be likely to wear a tie or open collar? Also how do you like your shirts to fit, are you a slim fit man or do you like a bit of billow?

Re: A new contender

Best bet is to wait till I have the website up and check the measurements then make your decision. You're not going to get a perfect fit out of either the medium or  the large by the sounds of it. I will be adding more size options as soon as possible.
