Ricardo Bestetti is exciting, fresh and new. His toe shapes are NOT my favority, but once one owns a house full of shoes, he must search for something that is NOT so similar to all the rest. Bestetti does this for sure. The gladiator in suede and croc is a grail shoe.
Hand clicking doesn't have to be perfect as leathers will most likely be skived. It's more about selecting best portions of the hide.
How easy is it to work with him remotely for MTO?

I dunno', I haven't asked him because I am not going to be in London to go bespoke and waste his time, but at those prices he's the bespoke for the common man. I have some Tim Little RTW and they're pretty darn good indeed.
Here's me thinking the Bestetti bespoke were a bargain at 2000 Euros, and l couldn't figure out how he could make them so cheap, but l was wrong. According to a client (phage-monster) they are 4000 Euros. Holy cow!
Still considerably cheaper than G&G's £4.5K+ or JLP's $7.7k+ price tag.
But factoring in cost of travel...

Riccardo is making exciting shoes. That is more than can be said for boring old expensive Northampton.
Tragic news ...Riccardo Bestetti has passed away suddenly.
Was it the lifestyle, genetics or bad luck?
