Just when we thought JLP took it to the stratmosphere, they now start painting the soles of the shoes with 24K gold and monk buckles in 18K gold in a special strictly limited edition.

The fact that fake gold leaf is at the craft shop for practically nothing, and nobody will be able to tell from that distance without a reference, makes me want to mock up something similar as a gag.
