I don't think that FNB wears only Frankentweeds or parquet floor jackets.  He's written that he generally only posts photos of his more idiosyncratic outfits and I take that at face value.  It's fairly obvious that those sorts of things are worn once in a while and are not necessarily indicative of how someone dresses generally.

That said, I don't think having a lot of jackets is a very good reason for having an ugly one.  The panel jacket isn't that bad but you see my point.  And I have to admit that I cannot imagine having so many of anything that I'd want to get a visually offensive one just to shake things up. 

(I also can't understand why Letterman would throw his jacket into the crowd or leave his DB unbuttoned all the time but that's another story...)

I realize that Frankenclothes are part of a sort of American college kid tradition and I have no problem with loud / GTH pieces generally.  I simply don't like the paneled look in shirts or jackets or pants.  I can appreciate that some of that stuff is better done than the rest and I recognize the tradition such as it is.  I just don't find the look particularly appealing to wear or visually pleasing on others.

With regard to that particular jacket, I can see that it is well done and I am one of the very few people on the forums who likes Corvato's work so I can appreciate much of what could appeal to someone in that jacket.  I just don't like the look and that isn't a comment on anyone's moral worth, general steez or anything else.

As a general comment, I know that lots of people on the internet loudly proclaim that they are entirely above the opinions of people for whom they post photos and that they fear no one, etc.  I really don't understand that - I can freely admit that I value the opinions of a lot of people here.  I've read their posts and have some understanding of their sense of style and have come to value what they say.  I imagine that most people, though they for some reason don't like to admit it, are in a similar position.
