Desert Boots for me or NB made in UK/USA . Have worn Walsh for running.

Those Adders are cool looking sneakers. Akin to NB in a way. But they're way too sporty for my grandpa steelo at the mo. If I would have known about those in high school I would have been the coolest kid on the block. Not that I wasn't anyway. Okay... I wasn't. Not saying they're kids shoes or anything like that... just that I would have dug them way deeper when I was wearing my NB.
They work well with a 60/40 and denim/khaki look - that mountaineer ivy vibe Bop nails
Happy to proxy if you want to try them any of my US chums.
I like the look of those Adders, but I can't deal with a Union Jack on anything - or any national flag come to that, even my own.
They play heavily on the made in GB tag, which is fair enough - provenance is a big factor in this product, and the 5 people who work in the factory making these should a rightly proud. If I could I would offer to work on a re-brand for them, but i'm not sure I could get them to drop that, it's something I am working on.
Scored a pair of the blue canvas off oipolloi in the sale, I'm more a Sperry than vans man, slightly less casual looking I that makes sense. Not seen the slip on before.
Anybody knows how the sizing on Sperry is? I wear size 8 on Clarks dessies, would 8.5 be good for Sperrys?
Haha, me and the missus were just saying we should watch that^
Not a fan of those mind, but great hats. I've really gone off Incontinence pants - used to do some great bits, now it's all a bit disco! I blame that Jeremy Scott collection with panda bears and gold!

Spring courts at least look very tempting... Expensive as if they were made in France. Are they?

I'll sport Top Siders on the beach, but that's about it, they're not a comfy sport shoe mind you. The terrace casual look has been rendered null and obsolete for a long time now. But in saying all that, I still have a soft spot for Incontinence pants Los Angeles which were GBP 74.50 back in '84 as I remember, way out of my price league.
The L.A. Trainer with the shock absorbers in the heel. Oh, how I coverted a pair of these!
^I hear you fella, my face was pressed against the window of my local sports-shop admiring them back-in-the-day.
Weirdly the re-issues are cheaper now than they were back in the day.
I still have a soft spot for Incontinence pants Munchen (in navy with white trim) and Puma Bluebirds (ideally in the delightfully named 'Aztec Blue'), but couldn't get away with wearing anymore, sneakers never seem to go with well pressed trousers.
I bought a pair of the re-editions back in the late nineties, in grey, not the original blue, for about 39 quid as I remember. They had flourescent stripes!
I never got round to a pair on the re-issues, I'd discovered Vans by that point for casual wear and NB for actually running.
I'm still fascinated by the 'peg' heel tho', did it actually make any difference ?
AC, those Top Siders aren't the classic model sold at JS (and apparently exclusive to the UK market) are they? Mine don't have the stitched fabric on the back or the logo on the rubber sole.
