Re: HARDY AND JOHNSON

Sounds great.  I have been wondering about options with right details between winter and mid summer.

Re: HARDY AND JOHNSON

This is great- authentic 3 patches are difficult to find (though I know you have 3 listed on your page) and although I like my sale brought Keyedge it's a take on a sack,  rather than a proper version.

^^^ Whilst I suspect H & J will decide to pursue whatever they want, I must say that I too would be a big supporter of that suggestion, Sid.

Re: HARDY AND JOHNSON

Thanks for the kind words Woof. I believe our second sample is even better than the one you saw so we have great hopes for the production run.......Regarding any future projects it will all depend on how well the jackets go. Lloyd and I have spent more than 12 months getting to where we are now. It is something we have both wanted to do since before we started H&J. Each jacket will be part of a very limited run and at an affordable price, so we will have to see how it all pans out. If we find we have enough punters who like what we do we will definitely broaden our horizon on to other things.

Re: HARDY AND JOHNSON

Chris, are the sleeves to have working cuffs? If there weren't a variety of sleeve lengths (which I'm guessing there won't be) then personally I'd find unfinished sleeves most useful. I often find I have to take half an inch or so off jacket sleeves, and working cuffs make it that much harder and more expensive to do.

Maybe it's just me and my short arms though.

Re: HARDY AND JOHNSON

The jackets will come in chest sizes 38, 40, 42, 44, 46 and will be reasonably generous. One sleeve length in each size, no working cuffs, but the sleeves will be very easily altered.

Was speaking to Dave Carrol who does the La Rocka stuff with Lloyd, he said the ones he's seen look stunning with all the right details. So like the rest looking forward to seeing these.

Literally the only time I regret not being on facebook is when I try to go to the H&J page and it tells me to log in.

They're nice. Five different shades of herringbone and a navy flannel.

Re: HARDY AND JOHNSON

Kinda hoping the Keydge I ordered doesn't fit…

It's held up in Paris with all the striking transport workers. I feel for those guys but my jacket…?
