Re: Lean Garments

Agree, think it would benefit for a longer placket - the rest of it looks good.

Re: Lean Garments

I actually prefer the shorter placket...yeah its were that second button hits really makes a difference I find. Your popover seems to have the same label as mine...similar looking too... do you find the collar lacks roll for its size?

Re: Lean Garments

No mine's ok on the roll front - it's actually got a better roll on than in that picture

Re: Lean Garments

It's really hard to get adequate chest hair display when the stance is that high.  I'm partial to a lower stance as well, and a longer placket really, for the times when I want to get really sexy and unbutton all the way down.

Re: Lean Garments

Hi Sid,

I signed up for email notifications "reserving" mine, a few weeks ago, as I don't want to miss these. But, as yet, have not received any mail from them.

How about you?

Cheers.

Re: Lean Garments

I did get an email and have ordered!
But it seems I (somehow) have VIP status (get me!) so was able to order a day early.

Buying all the other shirts has paid off.

Re: Lean Garments

The plackets on those are too short for my tastes but a lot of what they are doing looks good. Chinos could be very good- I know the fella whose involved in this doesn't post here often,  but I think he gets 'it', as long as they chinos are high waisted and not too extremely tapered?

Re: Lean Garments

I thought I'd give these shirts a try - happy to support their project. Unsure about the hem of the shirts, but might just be the photo.

I doubt if they make chinos they would be hitting the dizzy-heights of what many on here would want. They seem to be searching for the sweetspot between the 'purists' and the wider market which almost certainly means mid-waisted rather than high-waisted. I might be wrong, though.
