Cordings would be my supplier of choice, unless you have any good other ideas?

Which colour would you chose? I usually wear navy suits.

I would get a fawn colored one but then I would also have it custom made.

I was just speaking for myself. For other stuff, sure, I am always using my tailor, for varied reasons, generally completing what I see in my minds eye. But for a covert coat, it'd just be fit. They are pretty standard.

Update: Fawn one from Cordings. Compared to the old one (bought 13 years ago at Cordings) this one has lots of nice little details eg metal chain coat hanger etc, better lining etc.
