No more tan shoes!
They are the works of the devil! And racist!
Join me in fighting them, whereever you can!
I support this movement, but am unsure of the plan. Should I carry ketchup packets with which to stain said shoes whenever seen?
I was going to wear black shoos today, but this thread makes me want to change my outfit and wear tan shoos since it is a sunny day. So, navy trousers, a light patterned coat and blue/white striped shirt, navy blue/white pocket square to balance the trousers and top half, and tan belt. It will work.
I do find tan shoes hard to make work properly unless the outfit is done really well, and most people who wear them look like duds because they have no clue on colour combining.
A navy suit with tan shoos? Maybe, but the shoos have to be amazing. If you wear the usual tan shoes found in most men's closets you will look like a dud if you wear them with a navy suit. See...amazing tan shoos can really get you big points and get you a pass in the style stakes with such combinations, but only trained eyes know these things.
Tan pants with tan shoos don't work either. Tan shoes with white pants can work. Tan shoos with black pants don't look so good either. Tan shoos with dark brown don't look good either.

What can you do to turn your tan shoes a deeper more russet shade of brown, Shooey?
Thanks.
Matching shoes and belt? Navy/white clothes to go along with tan shoes?
Donald Duck signed up as a Navy sailor?
I love tan shoes in fact I have too many of them and I find it particularly hard to get the correct pink shoe laces...man oh man!
