I haven't seen anyone sporting a cravat for a long time now, as per the bow tie, it's not something I would feel comfortable with. But in saying that, I have a somewhat pronounced operational scare on my throat area now, so a cravat would hide this. Some of those Cravat Club one looks quite interesting.
Flamboyant pocket squares have recently come back with a vengeance, so why not the cravat? If it gains a bit of traction, I may be tempted.....
Come on lads!
It shows real strength to actually RESIST playing the growns ups dressing up game. I havent worn one in ages, and that is a good thing.
Aye, it could be the next thing to be picked-up by the bearded and waxed moustache hipster brigade along with Penhaligon's Bayolea.
Oh my, I wear an ascot/cravat almost constantly in mild or cool weather, only desisting when the temperatures reach the high 70's or low 80's (F) or higher. As I like to say, "Ascots and pocket squares, that's what every cool guy wears." An ascot adds a touch of panache and raises a shirt above the boring ubiquity of the open-collar, jacket-front shirt. It also adds a considerable measure of warmth in cooler weather.
