Expensive folding bikes are the new Red Porsches  as a clear indicator of well-to-do middle-class midlife-crisis.

The black Porsche is king over here, very rarely see a different colour. There's a Porsche garage by me, intriguingly the company vehicles advertising the garage are silver VW Up's, of which they have a number of them.

Over the years, I've come across a number of Porsche owners proud to boast and demonstrate their prowess in owning one of them, none have boasted for too long though and have ultimately got rid quite discretely and never mentioned the subject again.
