C&J Belgrave handgrade

Outfit of the day:
Canali travel blazer (2B SB patch pockets, navy)
Cream-yellowish PRL slim chino
Navy/white large Gingham check PRL button down
no pocket square
Brand new Pantherella navy socks
AND: my wonderful chestnut-cognac coloured Belgraves.
The C&J Belgrave are by far the most versatile AND "value for money" model of their range:
- Handgrade means lots of nice details, very refined
- Toe cap = simplicity, little brogueing detail = sweet
- 500 GBP still ok, not over the top
- 337 last: very elegant but not too showy or "Italian" (what brits and yanks believe is "Italian", i.e. pointy)
When buying Belgraves, makes sure they show you at least 2 or 3 different pairs, as their "Chestnut" colour can vary wildly.
