I can go even one better...at a recent wedding I attended there were a number of gentlemen would wore pins through their coat breast pockets to keep their *pocket flashes in place. Fear not, they were god awful suits. Its was pointed out to me that the back of my tie was longer than the front by one such gentleman, said gentleman then proceeded to show me how short his knitted polyester tie was by pulling out the back of it from his shirt. I'm really not one to discuss clothing at social events which is just as well as I feel the conversation had no where to go.

I was unmarried and had no kids then. A decent car in that class, with all the taxes and insurances will cost in the region of 800 to a grand Euros to keep on the road a month here. It quickly becomes a burden and then with fuel around town. You can also go the company car route, but the taxes are worse than paying for the car yourself. You can also have a company car and pay no taxes, but all mileage has to be strictly business and there are cameras spying on you everywhere and one little trip to the beach or anything deemed extraordinary and your hit with the full taxes for the year,

That's why the Hepcat has downsized to the VW Up! and the missus has a Toyota Prius. I probably went a bit too far with the Up, but there you go. I do like the BMW i3 electrical car though, but it hasn't sold well here.

Sadly, not the LWB edition, which was a good thing, with parking the way it was and is in The Hague it was more than a nightmare without the extra length. Where I live now I would be okay and the center of The Hague gets more and more grotty and less attractive to visit by the day. So I wouldn't need to worry with a LWB version.

Since we've been reminiscing about past cars, I've seen dozens of classic Daimlers, Saabs and today, a nice racing green Bentley. I would like one of those very much.
