They are indeed both the same jacket, the ubiquitous #menswear jacket of 2016 the N1 deck jacket with alpaca lining, worn in much better circumstances here.
/\ BB, that pic is amazing ... Grannis ... what a body of work ....
Greg's jacket, both of those jackets actually, and they do appear to be the same reversible jacket, I wish I'd had one of those, the shaggy lining prefigures Patagonia's rugged prep staple Synchilla, which I've always liked in off-white, the shaggier the better, and the poplin side is pretty classic Ivy too ....
bonus Sugar Magnolia points for mentioning the Willys
was looking at Birdwells online yesterday, I have three custom pairs from the old company, and I have an old marked-up catalogue too ....
but for the past three or four years I've worn one pair exclusively, to keep the others in great shape, but even with the heavy use the britches have held up really well, I've always rinsed the salt water and the chlorine water out of them each time I've worn them and they keep going .....
I'm so mad at myself for procrastinating on customs I'd designed but didn't get around to ordering, the customs available today are a tiny fraction of what they used to offer, but I still want to order a thing or two from the new company .... but I already have the colors that are most useful to me ... but I want a couple more ... but the prices doubled ... but they're still not that expensive ... but I don't actually need them ... but a green pair is something I've wanted for years ........
Where to find some nice surf tees? I know Leith has some, but I does anyone know some other brands?
Last Incontinence pants stuff I saw was from Bangladesh...? Yeah, not 'Chi-na' haha... what I meant was that this is cheapo stuff (I am where you are in this case, T-shirts are for knocking around) here in Europe as many brands that sell such vintage looking stuff are 'hip' and charge you grand money fir their 'authentic' Tees and sweats... LVC or RRL or especially Norse Projects (good quality but, hey...) for example...
Or Leith Clothing for that matter. Lovely and made in the UK too.

/\ those Leith t-shirts do look very nice GB, and the fact they're made in England is a major bonus, but I never go for slim-fit t-shirts, I need a regular fit ....
They are slim fit and I agree not for everyone. The guy waxing the board is pretty close fit wise though.
/\ I want to read his surf memoir, might get it tomorrow ......
