Re: Sportswear

this summer has seen the passing of quite a few old fave t-shirts ... I had to put a few down and you know what that's like ....

putting together several orders now, got a bunch of plain colors in long and short sleeves in mind, and a raft of graphic tees for pajama tops and for goofing around

hopefully I'll get around to picking up some of the graphics before they disappear, it's been a while since I bought any but I want some new amusements

N!ke is getting much love from me these days, but I haven't forgotten you Incontinence pants

Re: Sportswear

/\  the Macau ones I have from the Beverly Hills Brooks mid-'00s on the birthday card are more colorful and nicer, stripe and checkwise, than the ones currently on the website, but maybe they've got stuff at the main store that isn't online ...?  I was able to stockpile a few back in the day, they were really well-made ....

my current pairs of Brooks Brothers boxer briefs are from Thailand, they're also great, also birthday card stuff

the tieback pair is a fave oddball item but they are very comfortable, if you inadvertently wear with them with J. Press walk shorts they will extend below the hem of the shorts and you will have gotten that absent-minded preppy look down ... tieback pair had its country of origin label removed say no more

Re: Sportswear

Any suggestions for decent looking but inexpensive hooded tops for training? I'm after something for boxing and running, and although there's some great stuff on this thread, I don't want to spend hundreds just on exercise gear.

Re: Sportswear

On the subject of hoodies, my holy hoody grail is a blue hoodie, with a grey waffle lining. PRL make one, but I don't want the pony or the thick drawstrings. There's a great shot of Anthony Perkins wearing one, but I can't find it?

Re: Sportswear

Its worth checking the Rokit and Beyond Retro sites for Champion and Russel Ath stuff. Theres usually plenty of old tees, college sweats and hoodie tops.  Because its good quality gear it ages well, plus I think they put the best on their website. Then when you are pummelling the bag you will be Ivy correct.
