Neither a 40 nor a regular length (definitely a short). 1960s I suspect (seeing the length of the vent would help corroborate).

I would like to alert everyone that most etsy sellers now prefer to list their items at 4 times their value and have them sit for years on end unsold, whereas many ebay sellers are content to overprice their items slightly less dramatically, and sell nearly a quarter of them. It is kind of comforting that you can see the same tattered shirt for $100 available now that you did 4 years ago.

You charge reasonable prices, I'm just a cheapskate lol... I've bought from you and have been nothing but happy!
But I do find Etsy as a whole to be a higher-priced market. Not just for trad/Ivy stuff but in general. There are some women's vintage clothing places on Etsy that are straight scams. Lots of aesthetic poses and good lighting but plain white t-shirts for $65+ and those quilted M65 liners you can buy for $5 on eBay listed for $100... Absurd. I think it's because eBay has more of a reputation for deals and haggling.
