Those 60/40 LL Bean OCBDs are good value...
Two BB makers OCBDs (one yellow, one white) in size 15.5/34 for $50 – or less as the seller accepts offers.

A nice size 38 Invertere Buffercoat flying under the radar.
Classic campus wear I believe.
Too small for me or it would have been snapped up for the Woof Buffercoat archive.

It looks like the same shade Makers OCBD I bought years ago which is kind of sand with a hint of grey. I think Bop complimented me on the purchase at the time. It took me a few years to work out how to wear that colour but once I did it became one of my favourite shirts - an absolute stunner (in a subtle way of course). I also have (or had - I'm not too sure) 3 ecru pinpoint BDs - I consider ecru to be a different colour but maybe they're the same and it's the difference in cloths that threw me.
Whoever snagged it is in for a treat (assuming they take that size).

So, how DID you figure out how to wear it? It seems like brown would be the natural pairing. Navy?
Actually I can't really recall - I think I mostly used it with grey flannels and navy Shetland. I think it worked with chinos as well in pre and post summer days.
I could wear it here in the tropics (if I had it with me) but walking any distance in Oxford is uncomfortable.
Really nice J. Press (approx) 40r POW check suit, the blue really makes this one pop. $150 isn't the cheapest price in the world but it's a beautiful suit.
