After All These Years...

Sad to see that 'Talk Ivy' appears to be - what's the word - moribund?

Now - a little playful.  It's what Jimmy would have wanted.

Re: After All These Years...

The energy has dispersed Andy. Each has gone there own way, but the spirit of Talk Ivy remains unvanquished for we are all immersed in this strange tradition with its strange stories and characters. It's on Instagram, in John Simons' shop, in certain corners of Soho, Shoreditch, Stoke Newington, Belper and Marylebone. I have a old friend in Liverpool still mad about all this stuff. It's very nostalgic typing comments up here after all that has gone on, post-Frosty and Chens. Then it went very dull for years with lots of portly men showing us their shetland jumpers. We got back in just before the redesign which I'm pleased about, but I'm not sure who is out there reading this stuff anymore! A dozen nutters perhaps ?

Re: After All These Years...

Once the forum is actually fully functioning we can assess the state of play. I suspect that a number of old faces will return, and a few new ones will join us, but really, predicting the future is somewhat futile.

'Talk Ivy' is perhaps acquiring a nice olde worlde patina.  Lovely.  It's here for those who fancy something a little kicked back rather than looking like a Martini advert.
