Red Brick

Shoes.  I still love 'em.  Bucks.  Long gone now but not forgotten.  Takes me right back to 2 Russell Street, just around the time I began to run heavily into debt.  Too much dabbling; too many unwise choices.  But I preferred those Dexter to almost any other footwear I've worn in many many years.

Re: Red Brick

The Walkover Bucks I have are an extremely comfortable pair of shoes. I'd recommend them

Re: Red Brick

One of my most regretful Ivy near misses was a sumptuous pair of deadstock Walkover saddle bucks with red brick soles in a size US 10D. I bought them from the Weejun thinking they would fit me okay, but I was gutted when they turned out to be too narrow for my wide feet and I had to sell them on. What someone on here once termed ‘the Great American Shoe Lottery’ and I didn’t have a winning ticket on that occasion.
