You really do need to see the pictures at the above. One thing is certain, you'll have an opinion.

For the younger, 'hipper' man? Why not? For ourselves? I think, perhaps, not. In fact, I don't remember the last time I wore paisley other than as a pattern in pyjamas or a Tootal/Sammy/Duggie scarf. I seem to recall a deadstock shirt, quite some years ago, bought from the adorable Roseann Ettinger, but that's long gone.
I expect these are made in Rumania or somewhere similar. Does anyone at all on here still get excited - at all - by Baracuta? I once had a big old trenchcoat of theirs which was excellent - but probably (almost certainly) from their Glory Days.
I did so love their old 'Made In England' label, though. Dhobi is in some ways not unlike it.
Oh dear. Smacks of desperation to me. I'm probably not part of their demographic so my opinion is probably not relevant to Baracuta.
Harry Styles focused by now rather than Harry Palmer I guess.
30 years ago, Kula Shaker would of sung their hippy indie in it for sure.

Fugly.
Maybe we're in for some kind of revival: early Pink Floyd, some kind of mescaline-induced flower-power trip. Nothing would surprise me. We even had a brief swing revival back in 1975. Elms was involved. But - needless to say - Elms was involved in everything. An odd time, on the surface: Miss Piggy followed by 'Moonlight Serenade'. Odd things happen in this crazy, mixed-up island of ours: especially when some kind of socio-economic bust-up is on the cards.
Pass the reefer jacket.
I have a few Baracuta's, which were bought back in the 80's. But I've just had a look at these, and they truly are awful. Lookout for them heavily discounted in TK Maxx, and even then they won't tempt me.
What happens if the chaps at Chiltern Street decide to stock a few of these? 'Twitter' and IG will surely go into overdrive.
Some kind of Weller-Piper At The Gates Of Dawn-type collaboration. Yes, I can see it. It had to happen.
Next up: Kevin Rowland in purple loon pants and glass beads.
Someone post the link to the Ivy Style Fb page, it'll go down a bomb, they'll love it.
They look like something that would be worn by a grandmother at a southern California beach community. I don't mean that in an insulting way, that's just what they bring to mind, more than any psychedelic vibe. In Southern CA the senior citizens are usually better dressed than the young or middle aged.
