A shame we can't bring up photographs (I never could anyway) but anyone in an academic/collegiate frame of mind should look at the images of her before she arrived at Cambridge.  A photograph of her interviewing fellow poet Marianne Moore comes readily to mind.  'Letters Home', tragic though it ultimately is, explores the Ivy League world of the 1950s in some detail - not unlike the early fiction of Mary McCarthy.
