Signing Off

I think I've done as much as I can, at least for the time being.

Best to you all.

Re: Signing Off

You have put in a sterling effort to breath life into the forum AFS. Unfortunately the lack of an update to the site hasn't helped the cause.

Re: Signing Off

Thanks for your efforts to get things going again AFS.  I think if between them, members can contribute a half dozen new threads a week (or bumps of old threads) that’s probably about right to keep things ticking over. Attention spans are short now and if someone hasn’t logged in for a few days two pages of new posts can put them off.

I’m going to write to FNB again for an update on where things are with the new forum.

Re: Signing Off

Thanks AFS, I concur what AS said, without your kickstart I too wouldn't have come back, I probably wouldn't have contributed either.

I was touched - and gently requested to stay on board.  So I am.

Re: Signing Off

Many thanks, WIL.  My mood sometimes takes a turn for the worse at this time of year but has improved a little, so...

Yes. Good to see you again.

I'm the same - a flutter of exitement to be pulling out the wool and flannel, followed by six months of misery yearning for CVO's and polo shirts

Re: Signing Off

I can understand you very well, AFS. Investing energy and time in a forum that the administrator just doesn't give a shit about is frustrating. More than another month has passed without anything changed, and I don't think that's going to happen anymore.

Thank you, very kind of you.  I do have a tendency to ramble, though.  My age.
