As my work wardrobe has become more casual Chinos are now my smart trouser choice. Always with a crease in them. Bills M3 are fav's in either their vintage twill for Autumn and early Spring or Chamois cotton for Summer.
Over the years cotton trousers have become a bit of a Holly Grail item for me.
I have amassed quite a few pairs through trial and error. Some were quickly consigned to the bin others have been virtually remade by local tailors. The old John Simons ones in blue and khaki were good.Made in Leicester if I recall correctly.
Oy gevalt!
Creases are so gentile.

I'll have to ask my rabbi for his opinion.
Speaking of which, you should all treat yourself to Harry Kemelman's superb 'Rabbi' novels. The Rabbi in question, David, is something of a Father Brown character, only instead of invoking Catholic mysticism he consults the Talmud.
You are so meshuggeneh!
Enough with this schmegegge. Khakis are always chinos, but chinos are not always khakis.
Leave creases and cuffs to the geratric mall dwellers.

We are all mall dwellers.
