^ Just echoing points made on another thread, the majority of 'vintage' shops are scarcely worth the effort nowadays. It was - or seemed to be - different about fifteen or sixteen years ago. The only shop I've found of interest lately is the revamped 'Wild' in Nottingham. Shaun has actually made significant improvements. It isn't - as he'll tell you - selling 'Ivy League' but 'Americana'. I don't think I've seen anything in there much above the £50 mark. Good for Bean, Carhartt, Pendleton, that sort of thing. Years back I bought, from the previous owners, a decent pea coat, Woolrich, London Fog, a Van Heusen G9, Arrow shirts early on. AUS probably knows the shop better than I.
