At £6 I bought a pair - just for the rather cool 60s packaging.
See what you think.
Ooo, tempted to buy for my design archive, wonderfully over packaged

And you get full instructions on how to put them on! You don't get that in Uniqlo....
The seller, who sounds rather nice (perhaps male, perhaps female, I can't tell) asked me if I'm a fan of 'Mad Men' or in advertising.
Over to you, Tom and Alvey.
These turned up in the post today, the packaging shrink-wrapped. I was planning on buying more but someone beat me to it.
I cannot get excited about socks. John Snow or Dimbleby might wear flashy socks. The different toe and heel thing was a clever innovation though.
I did see a documentary about Leicester hosiery with that horrible Gregg Wallace and I was happy to see a UK manufacturer in back streets producing quality items. Almost tempted to buy some.
The only other socks I look at are Falke ski socks which I now wear in Winter at home. Very warm and they stay up. Marked L and R.
Lidl ski socks which are probably Falke are also sound.
These socks are from 1967. It was the packaging that was the draw: like an ad from a copy of 'Esquire'.
