The Look Of 'Catch Me If You Can'

Not an especially good film in many ways (for instance, the tiresome Christopher Walken) and yet some of the clothing (and other visual aspects) are worth a look, are they not?  (Did agents of the FBI really dress that way, so that every bad guy knew exactly who they were?).  I quite like some of De Caprio's early college boy clothing (but is it 'Ivy League'?).  Visually, elsewhere, I'm reminded of some parts of 'The Godfather Part 11.  And the music?  Well, Friedwald had, for no apparent reason, little time for Astrud Gilberto.  Personally, I could have done without The Kinks.
But look at Dicaprio (got that wrong the first time ^) on the cover of the DVD.  Not bad.  Not bad at all.

Re: The Look Of 'Catch Me If You Can'

Not the great Brendan Shine version of ‘Catch me if you can’ then.

As far as I am aware the only clue to his appearance is :-

‘I’m awful shifty for a man of fifty’.

"Florid, smug, middle-aged golf club bore in this country I'd say. Propping up the 19th hole in deepest Surrey bemoaning the perils of immigration."
