I'd also like to recommend this book.
Lovely soft absorbent paper it's written on, if you catch my drift.
If you look at some of the reviews of Mike's book on here, esp. mine, among others, you'll see how silly his accusation is that he was the subject of ridicule. But reading on the Jakes might do the trick, I admit.
I didn't read the book, I am way out of the loop. I got (deliberate bad grammer) the taste of Manton before I was kicked off the AAAC site. I am sure he knows a lot about tailoring.
I know he is a doofus about any other subject. I wish him well, If I might refer to a phrase that I know he will spend hours (well perhaps less now that there is an internet) researching: Manton is a name that was writ upon water. or certainly something far less substantial.
Sorry Fox doofus. Time to move on.
I've only started making fun of him to prove him right.
First he gave an opinion without facts.
Now I am providing facts to back up his opinion.
I'm working for him now.

... and if I didn't promote it who knows what it would cost by now?
^ A very good review.
Were I Manton I wouldn't bitch.
For bitching oft begats bitching back.
And the world just gets worse.
That's a thorough review Horace. I read the book and it was very hard to follow. I agree that little of the book was original. The lack of photographs really made it look bad next to the likes of Roetzel.

Truly astounding! I tried to find something in this book the other night. To my chagrin a two minute exercise turned into thirty minutes of frustration. Too many distractions and the book is dense and hard to identify with. For someone who is a writer by trade, this is a failure. If there is a joke entombed in the pages, it is on the reader.
Thank god he is not victimizing us with another book.
Damn, I wrote a good review if I do say so myself.
"He's probably too busy with his new consulting firm....."
WHWG Finance = ?White House Writers/Writing Group? with a stylized WH logo? Underemployed Republican flaks? Mr. Anton is presently consumed with an interest in haute cuisine, as exhibited by his many references thereto on the Sty Forum. Grins at truffles, or fried pork rinds, in his avatar?
