I do not have a lot of bold striped suits. I would wear one if I had them but the only close calls I have are green stripes on grey and a lavender on a blue suit. Both of them are subdued.

Is now the time to admit that I have a suit which makes my last one look shy and retiring? It has a complex light grey stripe on a dark grey ground in a 12oz (I think) Super 120. Given the look of the fabric I had it made up as a double breasted. A fun suit and I only wear it socially which answers the earlier question about wearing striped suits outside the office.
