Contrary to lies of FNB and Woofboxer, I (and most of the other "Buff Bastards") have been banned from posting on this forum. There are only a few posters left so don't waste your time on here. This forum is dead and nobody cares.

Jeeves - apart from the fact that Stephen Fry's Jeeves is hightly derivative of Dennis Price's incarnation (which was, in my view, finer), of course most of it is a matter of opinion and you put the matter better than most detractors of the LL. However, I still do not see why Michael Alden's leading the way in the revival of heavy suiting according to 1930s patterns should upset so many people so very much. I don't know what has happened to the LL but I shall miss it; not least since, the vulgarity (as Lynn Truss puts it the bloody rudeness) of modern living is absent there.

And otherwise find a better use for your time; I'd venture that you father spared the rod and spoiled the boy.

PS On reflexion, not Max Beerbohm but, on account of the origin of the sounds that you make - Whistler.

Re: Has the London Lounge closed down?

Being banned from LL isn't the only reason someone wouldn't like that place.
