It appears that he has taken down his blog - http://www.desmerrionbespoketailor.com/. If so, it is disappointing as I found it an entertaining and informative read.
Definitely we can't afford to lose too many of these blogs, in fact even losing one good one is a negative.
Internet plagiarism is infuriating. The website I serve as forum moderator had entire sections stolen
right after 9/11 by a major publisher. The site owner no sooner fought a phyricc victory than a poster to the forum lifted an entire article from an online vendor. Serendipity, vendor was a longtime friend and
I recognised it immediately. I removed the article, posted an immediate apology and emailed my friend an apology. I knew I was in trouble when the errant poster had to do a websearch for plagiarism.
When anyone catches this theft, the proper and immediate course is to run the thief to ground.
Does anyone know how Des is doing? He seems to have had a hard time in the last 12 months. His blog was refreshingly honest and informative.

Gentlemen,
Des Merrion has now been released and is back tailoring. Whilst he is getting himself re-established he has informed me that discounts are available for new and existing customers.
He is contactable by e-mail through his website and if you wish to contact him by phone PM me and I will give you his contact details.

Good luck to him. Taking up blogging again might not be a bad way to re-establish his presence.
I'd like to place an order for a full set of bespoke camouflage fatigues, an M1 Carbine and magazines, a box of grenades and a medium stovepipe bazooka plus rockets. I'll get the headgear from Patey.
PS Would he consider loss-leader freebies for me?

Back from a conference. It's good to hear that Des is out. He is another victim of Blair's fascist anti-gun legislation that could have put him inside for longer. Des, having been convicted of "gun crime", will be banned from entering the US. Hopefully, he might be able to find an associate who could meet and measure his American clients.
