Re: Has the London Lounge closed down?

About two months and counting. It seems like a long time but I guess it is not. I am just so used to skimming some of the posts over there.

Re: Has the London Lounge closed down?

There seems to be a general malaise in the fora, perhaps, a consequence of the economy or repetition of topics ad infinitum, or both, so, the LL may have met an inevitable demise.

Re: Has the London Lounge closed down?

I have not been around here for a while due to work pressures. I tried to find the LL tonight and even the inactive Google forum appears to have gone too. It seems bizarre to have an active forum and then take it down on the pretence that it is being redeveloped. I wonder if Mr Alden is being sued - by a litigious iGent, one his "certified" artisans, or a competing forum "owner"?

Re: Has the London Lounge closed down?

The LL has re-appeared tonight. I don't like the new blue colour scheme. It is also difficult understand why it was necessary to move to a new software platform that appears to add no value.

What did I tell you? When a man makes money off of a website you bet your life it is coming back on line. Too many trained suckers to leave behind.
