I really like that - You know what you're doing, don't worry.
The hair works well too. I usually like a neater look, but the disconnect between the neat clothes and the 'bed hair' has a really nice 'good boy gone bad' vibe to it.
Have you seen 'Igby goes down' yet? I think you may like it.
Best -
There are some nice Jimmy Dean shots that remind me of your look above too... His hair is mussed up & he's in classic American casuals...

Igs has longer hair than you and a very nice Updated Ivy wardrobe. Nothing too smart.
He messes up like we all do, but he has some fun along the way.

Can very young men really pull off the sunglasses look? l'm not so convinced. l'm talking generally here. The girls can always pull `em off, but the boys?

Today's 'piece de resistence' is a navy blue "Barracuda", a 70s Italian replica of the Baracuta G9 I bought at a vintage shop 17 years ago or so.. Much slimmer than any slim G9, smaller collar (but with the same pointy shape and knitted inside), Royal Stuart tartan lining (thicker and more coarse than the G9's, but not the fluffy carpet type featured by some hi-street modern harringtons). Elasticated knitted cuffs and waistband are definitely good quality. Interesting thing, the inner label has the word 'Barracuda' written in shape of... a fish!) This little piece of 'Italian Ivy' from the days of yesterday is matched by a brown short sleeves polo shirt, tan vintage Levi's Sta-prest in whipcord, navy socks and black weejuns tassels Made in USA.
Seems like I've raided the window of one of those small dusty shops I used to watch at during my pre-teens years in Milan..:-)

I'm waiting for an excuse to do just that!
Although the jacket is easy fitting, the trousers are extremely tapered, that rooster look must have been very popular with teens at the time!
The vest is a great four-pocket number, but too short to wear with anything else but the suit trousers.
Maybe I'll be able to pull off the look at work on colder days with an open-necked OCBD.
