Cool.
This has to be The London Look in a nutshell.
Where did I first meet The Weejun?
Where does John Gall drink his coffee?

nice photo!!
can't wait to walk down Shaftesbury, Frith, grab a pastry at Madame Bertaux on Greek St in just a few short months time!
Ham Yard 20 yards down on the right - 'the scene' of much natural shoulder jostling 63-66. Austins just round corner on the right. Today, after hearing much talk amongst fashionable younger people than me, I felt I had to do a walking tour and comparison of the current hot east v west end debate. I spent 2 hours respectively in Soho and Brick Lane/Hoxton/Bethnal Green. I think if you're cool and under 30 then the east has it, but for me, 44 years old and with a strong affiliation to the historic pull of W1/WC1/WC2 Soho still has its magic. Peter York was sitting outside Bar Italia talking very loudly and very grandly to another bore but actually what he was doing, if I may be so vain and presumptious, was checking me out in Ivy herringbone tweed jacket and Buffalo Creek scotch grain pennies. Mr York understands 'the look' and 'the tradition' and I clearly tickled his fancy. He was looking like a rather overblown, rather queeny Quentin-ish figure in expensive but not very nice clothes - Gucci driving shoes, a brown herringbone jacket, grey streaked boufantish balding hair. He looked quite nice when he was younger.

Where does one grab a few espressos at 4am in order to keep on going?
