THE WAY WE WERE. Not perfect but a pretty nostalgic movie that had the underlying theme of nostalgia. Robert redford and his cohorts played a constant game. Asking each other about the best? best year/ Best weekend? Best whatever.
    Best year: Probably 1985. The year I had no responsibilities and a lot of options. although I was to dumb to realize it.
    Best place: London 1976. Bermuda 1978. Neither will ever be as nice.
    Best weekend: Saratoga this year with my fiancee. The Gideon Putnam Hotel doesn't suck.
    Best store: probably the Yale Coop circa 1978. Didn't know it at the time.
    Best time to be alive: 1976-77. Junior year of college. when does life get any better?
