Re: The Ivy Diaspora

Oh, you're right... I think it was mentioned 5 years ago, along with the "boho" look 3 years ago....

Ms Westwood, is she still alive? Interesting...

And these other two cretins they used that word "punk", did they?

... but, well, yes, I am not a student of fashion, and I don't really care about it... I do like clothes, though...

Re: The Ivy Diaspora

When I said it's a meaningless footnote, I was thinking exactly about this: the catwalk fashions (that you mentioned with these 3 so important designers) where you might see a safety pin or a hole in some fabric occasionally...

in everyday life what does it matter? where do you see Punk Rock? the faux-mohawk hairstyles of some football players?... I'm sure they wouldn't know about punk rock as much as the guy next door in his bd and chinos would know about ivy...

Re: The Ivy Diaspora

Back to the original topic: It's really odd, this Ivy League diaspora... I got some of my mates "interested" in Ivy, but I'm the only one who is really "hooked", and I still don't think I'm an Ivy purist...
