Reading list

Evan Thomas: John Paul Jones. I just learned that this guy is Norman Thomas' grandson.
James Stewart's fabulous article in this week's New Yorker on the Financial crisis.

Re: Reading list

I'm thinking J. Press MTM or Mr. Sid in NYC. Do I have that name right?

Re: Reading list

I just finished reading James Herbert's novel "Domain", which is about the rats taking over London in the aftermath of an atomic strike. Lots of action, plenty of creepiness, good observations about life "afterwards", and staggeringly immense amounts of gore. Good, honest post-apocalyptic horror fiction.

Re: Reading list

I meant Mr. Ned in NYC. Generally have read very good things and his prices are more than reasonable.

I'm enjoying Anna Gavalda's 'Hunting & Gathering' very much.
